Students from CIFP l’Embat of Mallorca visit the Sasga Yachts shipyard

Last Tuesday, November 5th, we had the pleasure of welcoming 40 students from the Integrated Vocational Training Centre (CIFP) l’Embat of Mallorca to our facilities in Sant Lluis. These students are currently studying in the nautical field: the Basic Professional Qualification in Maintenance of Sports and Recreational Boats and the Intermediate Vocational Training Programme in Maintenance of Recreational Boats.

The educational visit allowed future technicians to gain in-depth insight into the boatbuilding processes at our shipyard. During the tour, the students explored the production plant and had the opportunity to closely observe each stage of the construction process, from hull manufacturing to the installation of complex electrical and mechanical yacht systems.

This type of collaboration between companies like Sasga Yachts and educational institutions such as CIFP l’Embat highlights the importance of connecting students with real industry experience, while also emphasising the relevance of the nautical sector as a key economic pillar in Menorca and the Balearic Islands.

The day concluded with a group of inspired young people, full of ideas and with a much clearer vision of the professional opportunities offered by the nautical world.
