Interview with Jonas Poyatos Nillson, head of Nautic Center Mallorca

When was Nautic Center Mallorca founded?

Nautic Center Mallorca is a relatively young company; it was founded in March 2019 with the main objective of offering a comprehensive service to its clients, providing them with the best possible advice.

Where are you located?

Our main office is located on Avenida Ingeniero Gabriel Roca (Palma’s Paseo Marítimo), very close to the most important yacht clubs in Palma: Club de Mar, Marina Ports de Mallorca and Real Club Náutico de Palma.

How many years have you been working here?

I joined the project in July 2020.

How do you think the Sasga Yachts brand is perceived in Mallorca?

In Mallorca, the Menorquín brand is very well known. However, since the shipyard introduced design changes to both the hull and the superstructure and updated all its models, it has taken a leap forward in quality and comfort, which the general public greatly appreciates.

Which are the key sales months?

It is difficult to define a low or high season for sales, as we encounter forward-planning clients who organise the purchase of their boat as a medium- to long-term project, and others who look for immediate delivery as summer approaches. We could say that our season runs from September to May.

What is the most valued feature by Sasga owners in Mallorca?

If we had to highlight some of the features most appreciated by owners when purchasing a Sasga, we should start with their first visit to the shipyard. At that moment, they realise it is an exclusive and customised product. They usually highlight the quality of the finishes and, of course, the safety while navigating.
