We are proud to share that the Confederation of Business Associations of the Balearic Islands (CAEB) has recognized the career of our CEO, José Luis Sastre, awarding him the Special Prize for Business Career 2025 during the CAEB Gala, held on November 6th at the Teatre Principal de Maó (Menorca).
This award celebrates a life dedicated to the sea, to business, and to the land where we were born. It acknowledges the vision, commitment and leadership of José Luis Sastre, who has managed to keep alive the artisanal and Mediterranean essence of Sasga Yachts while projecting the brand onto the international stage. His work has contributed to placing Menorca on the global nautical map, proving that excellence and tradition can coexist with innovation and sustainability.
The CAEB Businessman of the Year Awards honour those who drive economic, social and environmental progress in the Balearic Islands. In this context, José Luis Sastre represents the spirit of an entrepreneur who not only creates wealth and employment, but also acts as an ambassador of a way of understanding the sea and life from Menorca.
