At Sasga Yachts SL, we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint, charting a new course towards responsible boatbuilding.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2023, the company has taken a further step by obtaining the \u201cOrganisational Carbon Footprint Management\u201d certification under ISO 14064-1:2018 and the Local Sustainable Industry (ILS) label. A reduction of 43.85% in our carbon footprint is planned for 2025 compared to 2021 emissions.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/testing.sasgayachts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/capturadepantalla2024-10-08134148.png\" alt=\"Huella de Carbono\"><\/p>\n<h3>What is the Carbon Footprint?<\/h3>\n<p>The carbon footprint is an indicator that measures \u201cthe total greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions generated directly or indirectly\u201d. It is expressed in tonnes of CO\u2082 equivalent.<\/p>\n<h3>Why do we register our Carbon Footprint?<\/h3>\n<p>Registering and verifying our carbon footprint at Sasga Yachts \u00aballows us to provide greater credibility to our calculations and reduction plan\u00bb.<\/p>\n<h3>What is ILS?<\/h3>\n<p>ILS (Local Sustainable Industry) aims to \u201cidentify industrial companies in the Balearic Islands committed to the environment\u201d.<\/p>\n<h3>Why does the company aim to reduce its footprint?<\/h3>\n<p>Our boats are designed and built in Menorca, a Biosphere Reserve since 1993.
